നാഷണൽ ഡിസെബിലിറ്റി അവാർഡ് 2024: നോമിനേഷൻ ക്ഷണിച്ചു
ഭിന്നശേഷി മേഖലയിൽ മികച്ച പ്രവർത്തനം കാഴ്ചവെച്ച വ്യക്തികൾക്കും സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്കും കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള നാഷണൽ ഡിസെബിലിറ്റി അവാർഡ് 2024 ന് നോമിനേഷൻ നൽകാം.
ഓരോ വിഭാഗത്തിലുമുള്ള നിർദ്ദിഷ്ട മാനദണ്ഡ പ്രകാരം ഓൺലൈനായാണ് നോമിനേഷൻ നൽകേണ്ടത്. അവാർഡിനുള്ള നോമിനേഷൻ ഓൺലൈൻ പോർട്ടൽ മുഖേന 31 നകം ലഭ്യമാക്കണം.

National Award for Individual Excellence 2024
To recognize and encourage people which are working for the empowerment of persons with disabilities and persons who are suffering from any disability under Right of Persons with Disabilities Act (2016)
Eligibility
(A) For the following categories of National award for Individual Excellence any individual having benchmark disability of 40% percent or more in the category specified in the schedule to the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, may nominate himself/herself for any one category of Awards as given below provided that he/she is not a recipient of any of the National Awards by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities during the past five years:-
(i) Sarvahrestha Divyangjan (above age of 18 years)
(ii) Shrestha Divyangjan (above age of 18 years) – The following are the subcategories and different type of disability:
a) Locomotor Disability
b) Visual Impairment
c) Hearing Impairment
d ) Intellectual Disability
e) Any specified Disability which is not mentioned above
(iii) Shrestha Divyangjan Bal/Balika (upto age of 18 years)
(B) For the following categories given below,of awardsany individual including any person with disability may nominate himself/herself for any one Category of Awards given below provided he/she has not been a recipient of any of the National Awards of the D/o Empowerment Persons With Disabilities during the past 5 years:-
(iv) Sarvshrestha Vyakti – Divyangjano Ke Sashaktikaran Ke Liye Karyarat
(v) Sarvshrestha Punarvas Peshevar (Rehabilitation Professional/worker) – Divyangatha Ke Kshetra Mein Karyarath
(vi) Sarvashrestha Anusandhan/Navpravartan/Utpad Vikas/Divyangatha Ke Sashktikaran Ke Kshetra Mein.

(i) Sarvshrestha Divyangjan – A certificate, a medal and Cash component of Award: Rs. 2.00 lakh to each awardee.
(ii) Shrestha Divyangjan – A certificate, a medal and Cash component of Award: Rs. 1.00 lakh to each awardee.

The National Selection Committee may recommend 3 additional awards in any category/sub-category of awards ie in Individual Excellence or in Institutional Empowerment category
Who can nominate ?
Any individual who is eligible may nominate himself/herself or on his/her behalf or on his/her Gurdian/Family member, with which he/she is associated.
Selection Process
The selection of the awardees shall be made on the basis of recommendations of the Screening Committees by the National Selection Committee.
Ceremony Details
The ceremony will be presented in New Delhi on 3 rd December, every year which has been declared as the “International Day of Persons with Disabilities”.
National Awards for Institutions engaged in empowering persons with Disabilities 2024
The objective of the award is to empower, recognize, and encourage organizations working for the cause of empowerment of persons with Disabilities
Eligibility
(i) Divangjano ke Shashaktikaran Mein Karyrat Sarveshrestha Sansthan- Any organization working for the empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for a minimum period of 10 years after registration under Society Act/ Trust Act / Section 8 of Companies Act 2013
(ii) Divangjano ke Liye Sarvashrestha Niyokta- Any Government organization/Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body or Local Government Body or Private or Non-Governmental organisation registered under Society Act/ Trust Act / Section 8 of Companies Act 2013 employing Persons with Disabilities of at least 10% in case of small orgsanisation and for large organizations employing 100 or more persons with disabilities
(iii) Divangjano ke Liye Sarvashrestha Placement Agency- Any Non-Governmental organization/Placement Agency registered under Society Act/ Trust Act / Section 8 of Companies Act 2013 providing placements in jobs to Persons with Disabilities (Excluding Government/ State Govt/Local Bodies)
(iv) Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan key Karyanvayan/Badhamukta Vatavaran ke Srijan Mein Sarvshrestha Rajya/UT/Zila- State Government or Union Territory Administration or District Administration doing outstanding work in Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan and creation of barrier free environment/working condition for the Persons with Disabilities
(v) Sarvshrestha Sugamya Yatayat ke Sadhan/Soochana Ewam Sanchar Prodyogiki – Government (State/UT/District) or Private organisation doing outstanding work in establishing sugamya yatayat ke sadhan in their area as also accessible websites, improving accessibility of information/content in braille
(vi) Divyangjano Ke Adhikar Adhiniyam / UDID Ewam Divyang Shashaktikaran ki Anya Yojanaon ke Karyanvayan Mein Sarvshrestha Rajya/ UT/ Zila – State/UT/District Administration doing outstanding work in implementing the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, or UDID scheme of the Department or other schemes central or state designed to empower Persons with Disabilities
(vii) Divyangjano Ke Adhikar Adhiniyam 2016 Ke Apne Rajya Mein Karyanvayan Mein Sarvshrestha Rajya Divyangjan Aayukta – State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities appointed by the States/UTs doing outstanding work for the implementation, coordination, monitoring of various provisions relating to rehabilitations and empowerment of persons with disabilities provided under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Act 2016 and Rules thereunder.
(viii) Punarvasan Peshewaron Ke Vikas Mein Sanlangn Sarvshrestha Sangathan – Any Institution/organization/registered under Society Act/Trust Act/ Section 8 Act of Companies Act, 2013 and engaged in education and training professionals and personnel working in the field of rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities
